Awkwards and Awesomes!

Isn't it funny how you start re-calling things that happened to you during the week for Awkward and Awesome Thursdays... your immediate thought may be that nothing awkward happened to you... until you realized a lot of awkward things did?! :)

Awesome:

- Pups sleeping together, even though Jake mostly still ignored Chloe... busted! 

- My new Kate Spade that I purchased on super-mega clearance, woot! 

- My lunch, Subway flat bread sandwich. Everyone asks if I like them, I love them. Try it, they are delish! 

- I always complain that my hair is always flat and volume is impossible... proved myself wrong, BAM!

- My Mom and step dad staying the night with me for a visit! 

- The weather in Texas today, it is 68 degrees and we have rain in our forecast!!!! Best news ever yall! 

Awkward:

- Trying to clean house in a hurry (for mom and stepdad) and bickering with UH. 

- Waking up to your alarm and trying to decided whether it is more important to wash your hair or sleep for 20 more minutes. 

 - A surprise visit from our General Manager... you kinda have to pretend to be happy to see them right? 

- Forgetting deodorant. I'm pretty sure no one else can smell the difference, but you are acutely aware of the fact. 

- Your employees asking if you shave your legs everyday?! Ehhh, what. Then not believing that you do. 

- Said same employees asking if your going to the gym, because they assume since you are married now that you wont be. 

- Eating the following cookie off the floor... don't worry, I dusted it off... I'm so sad. 

- How it feels like FRIDAY and it's only THURSDAY. 

Only one more day!!! 

Awkward and Awesome Thursday!

It seems like Awkward and Awesome Thursday come up so fast!! I have to say, I am never prepared enough for this! 

Awkward:

- Coffee breath. 
- Stinky customers. 
- You're e-mail address, which clearly states your entire name, sending out spam to everyone you have ever e-mailed... sorry, don't open it?!
- Your boss begging for good news, cause he had the worst day... what if I don't have any???
- Mavs parade on a THURSDAY at TWO PM... uhhh isn't everyone working??
- Being ignored because people are on their phone or playing with their phone. 
- People driving and texting. If you notice some driving horrifically, see if they are on their phone... cause I bet they are. GRRR
- Pointing out to someone (a boy... not UF) that they urinated all over the floor in front of the toilet. Gross. 


Awesome:

- Microdermabrasion! 
- Pintrest... I think. 
- Lilly Pulitzer koozies...

- Essie's, Cute As A Button

- Being 50 days away from, "I Do!!" 
- Making some progress on the extensive list of necessary wedding music... really... processionals?!


Yalls turn!!!

I love the smell of watermelon.

Irrelevant post name I know... but I will explain a little bit of it later... It's Thursday, *sigh of relief, that means tomorrow is Friday. I'm ready for the weekend, as I'm sure most people are. I claim no originality on that front, but I've got some items that need to be checked off my "to do" list so it should be a productive weekend.

Guess what else?! It's Awkward and Awesome Thursday! I really do love this time of day!

Awkward

- Dropping a stool at work on my toe (as previously posted about).

- Then limping around work for 2 days and counting...

- And finally (stool related that is) wearing a high heel on unhurt foot and a flip-flop on the hurt foot. I'm trying to keep it professional after all????

- Work playing "Pour Some Sugar On Me" by Def Leppard over the PA system... wait, we are at a bar??

- Running out of toilet paper at work. The End.

- The gibberish that my English language turns into after two cups of coffee.

- When UF tells me (at 11:37 PM) that I should probably stop drinking coffee by at least 3 PM... because I can't stop talking and therefore can't fall asleep (which means he can't either :)).

 Awesome

- Getting surprise checks reimbursing you for petty cash that you used out of your own pocket at some point... that I already forgot about!! Woohoo

- Tomorrow is April!! Only my favorite month, well... maybe beside August (Wedding) now!!

- Spring showers... and warmth! 

-  My most awesome watermelon pen, that SMELLS like watermelon!!! Amazing huh? (Get the post title now?!)

- Spring Rolls, the unfried kind in rice paper. I don't remember if I mentioned them last week, but I am still thinking about them and craving them. If only I coud get UF to eat them every night!!

Awkward and Awesome Thursday, again!

Ready for awkward and awesome Thursday yall? I must say, I am less prepared for this one than last weeks!! I think I can manage though! 

Awkward:

- People who don't want to attend your wedding. 
- Eating way way way more than your stomach is able to hold on Cheat Days. 
- Thursdays at work, in general, cause you know tomorrow is Friday!! Woot! 
- Having to pull up your gym shorts the entire hour of boot camp... (see awesome)
- Trying to help illogical customers realize they are screaming at the wrong person!


Awesome:

- Eating 4 Vegtable Spring Rolls for dinner.. yum! 
- Homemade popcorn for dessert. 
- Plastic wine glasses for 3.00!
- Plans to "bling" said wine glasses. 
- Having to pull up your gym shorts the entire hour of boot camp... (see awkward)
- 2 hours of workout on Saturday!!! 
- Cheat day on Sunday!!! :)

Now for Awkward!

 - Feeling like the girl in my same group during boot camp was competing with me.

- The fact that said girl wouldn't shut up about her P90X workouts... (uhm why are you at Boot Camp then)

- Going to work dirty, (Eww, I know) and feeling like everyone else knows it too. 

- Definitely NOT being able to go more than 1 day with dirty hair.

- Being super jealous of other girls who have fabulous hair on dirty day number 3!

- Throwing the boxes of girl scout cookies across the room at work. (I can't eat them, I don't want to look at them)

- Telling people I'm getting married in New Hampshire. (I'm really sorry, but I'm still happy about it... does that make me awful?)
