How Pinteresting?!

Our good ol' friend ....

   ... are back!! 


Now lately I've heard/read a lot of people claiming to be "addicted" to Pinterest, but I think I legitimately am. That's not something to brag about I know, it's pretty awful really! Every time I have down time I find myself day dreaming about Pinterest. Want to know the crummiest part of this whole story? It's blocked at work.. Boo. I guess that's the best part of the story for said employer though! :)

Fall Clothes. Some people may be thinking, Fall? Those are shorts?! In Texas, these can and are considered Fall attire. Fall means you can wear longER sleeves again!

These are adorable AND edible. I may make these this weekend, I will let you know how it goes if I do! 

Every girl needs a blow out tutorial. Tried some of the tips today, legit folks. If you need some help, give it whirl. 

I almost got married here ^^. That would be Jasper State Park, only reason it didn't happen... it's in Canada.. haha

I save the best for last... Beergaritas!!! I WILL be making these this weekend!! Woohoo. I will let you know how THAT happens to turn out as well!! :)

Misc. Monday

I am also LOVING my phone case. I got it from Marley Lilly. If you haven't checked out Kelly's sight you should. She has monogrammed EVERYTHING! It's amazing. 

I also made the mistake of checking out the David Yurman sight. BIG mistake. I can't afford that stuff right now. Maybe it will go on my anniversary wish list?? Bleh. 

I love turquoise so this is kind of an obvious right?

Also on my jewelry necklace, a to die for gold necklace. Yes please! 

I just thought this was beautiful. I love all the lines and texture and the purple is gorgeous. Yum.

Hurricane Season

This really has nothing to do with Hurricanes, except that my life has been one lately. 


I really am coming back full throttle here, things have just been craaaAAzy here lately. 


To start, I've been working my booty off since we've been back. I mean, open to close, 12 hour shifts here. In the last 3 days, I have worked 36 hours! You're jealous aren't you?! 


Secondly, UH and I got a puppy. Yes, we are insane. Certified insane. Admittedly, she is cute though. And she is 4 months old versus 8 weeks, and pretty much potty trained... that counts for something right??

We just decided on a name for her... I think, after 3 days of owning her. Calypso... Caly (Cali) for short. Not bad huh?


We are also in the middle of going through all of our personal belongings and getting rid of the CRAP, and welcoming the new and functional items we received from getting married. It's refreshing, but a task.


We also in the midst of coming up with our new FAMILY budget and consolidating. 


I also stood around at DPS for 3 entire hours changing my name. The good news is I had to renew my licence next year anyways, in person with a picture, so I got that taken care of too. DPS wont be seeing me for another 7 years! Woohoo! 


We got the proofs of our wedding pictures, which are AH-MAZING. Like I've said a million times, go check out Jenna Cole. Her work is incredible, and she is such a pleasure to work with. You may even see some of our wedding pics up if you head on over. 


We are starting to get back into the swing of things though, and miss our friends and family already. It was so amazing getting everyone together, that we are already thinking about how to do it again... like I said, certified crazy. :)


So those are my hurricane like conditions!! I will get to sharing honeymoon and pre-wedding pics soon though!

I have to say I am in love with the entire wall. I love the pop of color and that it's green, I love the symmetrical lamps, I love the "C" on the wall, and the photos surrounding it, oooh and the color ON the wall, yum! 


I hope you are still friends with me after I admitted to being slightly crazy and accessory/color obsessive! :)

Woah is Me.

Hi blog friends!

I have a confession, this may be a little pathetic, I may be wallowing in self-pity, but I think I'm dealing with questions a lot of people have to ask themselves at some point... 

What in the world do I want to do with my life?!

I guess I should really be asking, "What do I want to be when I grow up?" Except that I'm mostly already grown up. 

I wish I would have come up with an answer to that question as a kid and stuck with it, but "princess" won’t get me too far! haha 

Options aren't my problem. I am fortunate enough to be able to keep all my doors open, mostly, but I don't know where to start. I have about 2 years of college under my belt, but if I continue with it I really have to buckle down and jump in... no more of this part time stuff. However, I'd like to have a direction to jump... because college may not be required for the direction I want. 

UH has been pushing me to start my own business, but I feel like such a schizo... I want to do everything, and I don't think I can do EVERYTHING really REALLY AMAZINGLY well. Do you know what I mean??

Maybe I should have just titled this "brain dump", sigh... thanks for listening friends!

Hi world!!

Yes, I'm still alive... and guess why I've been so abesnt?!

Cause I was busy becoming someones Mrs.!!

I can't wait to catch up and of course show you pictures once I have them. I have one sneak peak from our photographer and it's AH-mAZING. Can't wait to see the rest of them!!
